Kit shipped from Skystar Dec. 1999 and completed March 2001. Excellent craftsmanship and overseen and assisted by talented IA. Fuselage (tubular frame) and components powder coated blue. Lower tube oiled and sealed. Wing spars epoxyed and ribs epoxy varnished. Full dual controls. Extended baggage area behind seat for your fly rod! Strobes, bubble doors. V.G.s. Polished groove aluminum spring main gear, aluminum tail wheel spring, 8.00x6 mains and 8 inch pneumatic Maule tailwheel. Polyfiber fabric and Polytone paint. Creme color with blue trim. Excellent condition: 8/10. TT fuel = 27 gals. (24 useable).

Lycoming O-290-D2 (135hp)Overhauled by Sun Aviation.All ADs complied with. New Slick mags, lightweight starter and alternator. 72x48 Aymar-Demuth prop.

Includes fully rigged Full Lotus 1650 floats. 100 hours on floats. Floats work well on frozen lakes, ice, snow, glaciers, water, etc. Hard composite material on bottoms. Empty weight on floats = 1040 lbs. EW on wheels = 900 lbs. Useful load on wheels = 650 lbs. Gross weight both configurations = 1550 lbs. Cruises 103 mph on wheels and 92 mph on floats at 2450 rpm. Climbs over 2000 fpm on wheels with 1/2 fuel and pilot. This aircraft was configured to be a STOL machine = light airframe, plenty of power and an agressive prop/engine combination. Terrific for year round flying! Go ice fishing! Use the back country airstrips. Take off from your pasture...winter or summer! Owner's family has expanded - looking for a "good fit" new owner who will appreciate this aircraft's capabilities.
