Bozeman, MT -- July 13, 2004 -- With over 40 years of combined aviation experience, the mother and daughter team of Barbara Price and Jessica Hiatt, launched www.ThePlaneExchange.com, with the mission of setting the standard for excellence in the aviation industry. In just four short years they have succeeded by creating many happy customers and maintaining the top aircraft broker position in the Aviation Top 100 and #1 ranking on both Yahoo and Google in several search categories. Now they are broadening their horizons and making it even easier for pilots to buy and sell their airplanes.

The Plane Exchange has created a network of honest, certified aircraft brokers, much like a Century 21 of the aircraft industry. Each broker completes a certification training program allowing them to specializes in a specific make and model aircraft. By concentrating on one type of plane, each broker becomes an expert in their field and is able to provide customers with the knowledge and experience they need to make a confident purchase. There is also a support team to assist in each sale, making sure everything goes smooth and everyone ends up happy. “The Plane Exchange is a network of pilots passionate about airplanes and helping other pilots,” says Hiatt. “ We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and our customers feel assured knowing they are dealing with the best in the business.”

As the Internet continues to grow, an ever-increasing number of used aircraft are being sold online. “The age of the Internet has changed the way people buy and sell airplanes,” says Price. “I have been in the business for over 25 years and the Internet is by far the best way to purchase an aircraft, but it is not without its challenges.” Sellers are often discouraged when they answer question after question with no serious sales leads and buyers get discouraged when they find out the plane they had their heart set on was misrepresented or sold out from under them. Both are frustrated and find the process time consuming and cumbersome. Throw that in with the potential for Internet fraud and you can see why more and more people are turning to professionals with a commitment to integrity and customer service for help and guidance.

“It’s our goal to make everyone’s experience of buying a plane a great one. I love receiving pictures from our happy customers in front of their new plane. They’re loving it! I’m loving it! Everyone’s happy!” The Plane Exchange continues to strive for excellence, listening to customer comments, making improvements to their already successful website and training new aircraft brokers. Whatever they are doing, it’s working, because Jim Lombardo, from New Jersey, isn’t the only pilot who has thanked them, saying, “You’ve made my dreams come true.”
